My client is seeking an Electrical‑focused QA/QC Specialist to support the final construction phase of a new chemical manufacturing facility in Johnsonville, TN. The project is focused on interior and MEP work, and this role will ensure all electrical and instrumentation installations performed by subcontractors meet required specifications, quality standards, and safety expectations.
This is a hands‑on field role involving daily site inspections, documentation, and direct oversight of electrical subcontractors.
Responsibilities- Perform daily site inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations
- Verify installation quality for 480V MCCs, DCS systems, conduit, wiring, terminations, and equipment
- Enforce QA/QC standards and ensure contractor compliance with project specifications
- Document progress through daily and weekly QC logs, photo documentation, and field reports
- Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and escalation issues as needed
- Coordinate with project managers, electrical subcontractors, and site leadership
- Review installation procedures, test results, and turnover documentation
- Support final commissioning and readiness activities as required
- Experience with 480V MCCs and DCS systems (required)
- Strong background in electrical & instrumentation installations in industrial environments
- Proven ability to inspect contractor work and enforce QA/QC processes
- Hands‑on experience verifying installation quality, procedures, and documentation
- Ability to work onsite daily and oversee electrical subcontractors
