Assistant General Manager
Krystal Restaurants LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant teams, deliver high-quality guest experiences, and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities Develop People- Create a positive energy that sets the team up for success.
- Empower staff with a “Yes I Can” mindset.
- Communicate effectively and engage the team in regular huddles.
- Coach and motivate shift leaders and crew members.
- Recruit and develop top‑grade talent.
- Demonstrate commitment to goals and inspire others to excel.
- Recognize team achievements using U‑Rock and other tools.
- Serve as a role model in behaviors, actions and decisions.
- Model memorable guest interactions.
- Coach WOW service and foster a welcoming environment.
- Address and celebrate guest feedback.
- Observe team and operations from the guest perspective and coach accordingly.
- Support the Restaurant General Manager with local marketing and events.
- Help execute company‑wide promotions, product launches, and samplings.
- Assist the team in local promotion execution.
- Implement Krystal 9 operating systems.
- Assist in developing sales forecasts and schedules.
- Monitor daily numbers, schedules, cash shortages, and HACCP logs.
- Review inventory efficiencies and product orders.
- Control food and equipment inventory with counts and records.
- Implement operational and financial action plans.
- Analyze sales and labor results after each shift.
- Maintain brand operating standards for product procedures, cleanliness, and service expectations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, security, and fire policies.
- Identify problems and troubleshoot restaurant equipment.
- Excellent people leadership and guest service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication with guests, team members and seniors.
- Ability to resolve issues in line with Krystal standards.
- Availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years of management experience.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related tasks.
- Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Carry items weighing no more than 50 lbs.
- Handle product preparation and storage.
- Perform proper lifting and kneeling as required.
