Location:

White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The Greenbrier Hotel Group dba The Greenbrier Hotel located in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia seeks eight (8) full-time Temporary Servers who will be responsible for the following:

• Support manager in daily operations of dining outlet through developing a high energy, guest service focused team through leading employees in customer service and managing resources.
• Monitor guest service and dining experience and take action to ensure service goals and satisfaction levels are attained.
• Support and demonstrate dining room standards, ensuring that guest service is always in the forefront of the restaurant and implementing plans to improve service levels with measurable goals and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with chef to improve food expediting process for any meal period.
• Maintain a strong presence by visiting every table at least once during the experience.
• Communicate necessary information to staff, peers and superiors with energy and enthusiasm including running energetic informative daily lineups.

Six (6) months experience food service or lead host experience preferred. One worksite located at 101 Main Street West, White Sulphur Springs, WV, no other worksites. On-the-job training is provided.

Wage:
Workers will make no less than the prevailing wage of $16.50 per hour and overtime at $22.52 per hour.

Schedule:

35 hours per week minimum. Work schedule can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Work hours and shifts vary.

All deductions from pay check will be made in accordance with and as required by law including but not limited to proper deduction to ensure wages do not properly fall below prevailing wage.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.

The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first work week. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last work week. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the work days in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by government (excluding passport fees).
