The Heirloom Room Creekside Restaurant & Bar

The Heirloom Room is Rocky Waters Motor Inn's signature fine dining experience, rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Appalachia. As a Dishwasher, you are a vital part of the kitchen team — keeping the operation clean, organized, and running smoothly so our cooks can focus on delivering exceptional food and our guests can enjoy a seamless dining experience. Dishwashing & Sanitation

• Properly clean and sanitize all food preparation areas, cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes in accordance with established hygiene standards
• Wash and appropriately store all kitchen equipment and dishware throughout each shift
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and wipe down kitchen walls throughout and at the end of each shift
• Perform weekly deep cleans to ensure full cleanliness and sanitization of all kitchen areas
• Remove and dispose of trash promptly and in accordance with company procedures
• Follow all AATMOS Hospitality safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures at all times

Kitchen Operations Support

• Assist cooks with meal ingredient preparation including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat as directed
• Assist with the unloading of delivered food supplies and organize and correctly store all food items
• Transfer meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen promptly per the cook's instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly labeled cooler at all times
• Support the kitchen team with additional duties as assigned

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required

Skills & Abilities

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain a steady pace throughout a physically demanding shift
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and stoop frequently and lift up to 50 lbs throughout each shift
• Serv Safe Food Handler Certification required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained throughout employment
