About the Role:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations to ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves driving sales growth through effective merchandising, staff leadership, and customer service excellence. The Store Manager will lead, train, and motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of visual presentation and store organization.

They will also manage inventory, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to optimize store performance. Ultimately, the Store Manager plays a critical role in fostering a productive work environment that supports both employee development and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role within a specialty retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of retail sales principles and visual merchandising techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience with customer service training programs and performance coaching.
• Familiarity with retail management software and point-of-sale systems.
• Proven track record of driving positive sales results in a competitive retail market.
• Certification in retail management or related professional development courses.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and surpass store sales goals.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate store staff to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
• Ensure the store is visually appealing by managing merchandising standards and maintaining organized displays.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze sales reports and market trends to adjust strategies and improve store performance.
• Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing while accommodating flexible work hours.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to align store initiatives with company goals and promotions.
