ROLE ESSENTIALS

  • Must have Property, Casualty, Accident & Health and Life insurance license through the state of Tennessee (We can help you obtain these beforehand if you do not already have them)
  • Bachelor’s Degree and more specifically, a Bachelor’s Degree concentrated in a business related field, is preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Sales, marketing, customer service or management experience preferred (but not required)
  • Pass a drug screening and criminal background check which is administered during the hiring process
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows applications, desirable
  • Khakis and Red Polo Not Required!

EXPECTED DAILY OPERATIONS
  • Cross-selling
  • Prospecting and generating new business through internet leads and with an already established referral program
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Create and facilitate product presentations to potential and existing clients
  • Conduct needs based marketing interviews
  • Processing payments and customer’s requests
  • Meeting with customers to determine their needs through policy reviews
  • Daily team meetings and training, during work hours, to act as motivation and inspiration
  • Generating and explaining quotes and product benefits
  • Accurately prepare forms, policies, endorsements when required
  • Contact prospects and current policyholders to generate interest in appointments
JOB RELATED TRAINING COURSES, LICENSING AND PROGRAMS
  • Successfully complete and maintain all state, federal and State Farm requirements – – including licensing – to market and service designated State Farm auto products and services
  • Remain current in all auto product changes and technical developments, and participate in company and industry training sessions as required
  • Complete training as required, including Compliance and Information Security Awareness
  • Remain current in all Continuing Education (CE) courses as required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain licenses to market State Farm products, as requested
  • Utilize agency and State Farm computer applications, as required and available
  • Follow agency’s guidelines for processes and daily activities
  • Follow up with customers and keep the agent informed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the agent
  • Exhibit prompt and professional customer service that fosters customer retention and attempt to retain business when/if customers call in to cancel
  • Create and foster a list of up to 5 center-of-influence referral partners (Assistance will be provided with this)
