Support the company by developing new products, supporting existing products, and interacting with customers
Essential Functions- Conduct bench-scale synthesis to support new product development
- Conduct bench-scale testing of formulations
- Participate in process improvement
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing plant
- Consult with quality control department and provide technical input as required
- Be able to work and communicate effectively with personnel from quality control, production, and management
- Interact with sales representatives and customers to address technical issues and explore innovations
- Occasional travel to trade shows or customer visits with sales personnel may be required
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry
- Experience working in a laboratory position with synthetic and analytical skills is a plus
- Knowledge of surfactant chemistry highly desired
