Job Schedule:

Day  Time      Fri  07:00 AM - 05:00 PM    Sat  07:00 AM - 07:00 PM    Sun  07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or vehicle access in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
Support emergency preparedness activities by assisting with evacuations, access control changes, and/or coordination with site contacts and public responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
