FLEX Security Officers

Toyota Motor Manufacturing – 301 James Lawrence Rd, Jackson, TN 38301

Hourly rate: $17.90 per hour. This is a part‑time position that requires weekend and holiday availability. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule and able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice. The role offers up to 30 hours per week. Hiring immediately.

Quarterly Perfect Attendance Bonus of $100 for officers who are present for every shift they commit to during the quarter.

This is a boots‑on‑the‑ground role in a professional environment. The officer will conduct routine patrols, identify and mitigate risks, enforce site policies, maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors, observe and document incidents accurately, and assist in protecting personnel and equipment.

• Conducts foot patrols, responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal activities. Officers must remain alert, professional, and proactive throughout their shift—representing the standard of excellence our client expects on‑site.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior and exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns—safety, security breaches, or unusual circumstances—in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports and documents).
• Ensure all rules and regulations are enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• TN Guard Card preferred, or the ability to obtain a TN Guard Card.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service or security service experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• This position requires occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
