Overview
EMA is seeking 1 armed and 1 unarmed security guard to provide security for the 2 Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs). MARCs are a one-stop shop for survivors of Hurricane Helene to receive disaster assistance and benefits. MARCs have representatives from FEMA, TEMA, TN Department of Labor and Workforce Development, TN Department of Human Services, TN Department of Commerce and Insurance, TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, TN Department of Safety-Drivers Services, and the American Red Cross to assist survivors.
Responsibilities- Provide security at the MARCs, primarily inside at the front door of the center.
- MARCs are open Monday–Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST and Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST.
- Lunch and dinner will be provided during the shift.
- TEMA estimates these guards will be needed for 2–3 months.
