Maintenance SupervisorAAMCI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at two Section 8 elderly housing communities: a 50‑unit property in Norris, TN and a 44‑unit property in Jacksboro, TN. These affordable housing communities serve income‑qualified residents through a Section 8 rent subsidy program.
This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and efficient maintenance operations, with the goal of fostering well‑maintained communities where residents can thrive. The position includes participation in an on‑call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with premium pay provided for emergency call‑outs. Starting pay ranges from $24–$26 per hour based on experience. AAMCI also offers extensive training and paid opportunities to obtain advanced certifications.
Full Time, Monday‑Friday 8‑5.
AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:- Perform preventive maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical problems
- Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components
- Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
- Complete work orders
- Order parts as necessary
- Record type and cost of repair work
- HVAC/EPA Certified a plus
- Ability to adhere to work safety program
- Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
