Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management services, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support Department supporting building operations and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Franklin, TN

Pay Range: Starting at $28hr

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm, with an hour of unpaid lunch

What's the Job?

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations
• Assist with general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, repairing furniture, and installing office accessories
• Support operations teams in building and equipment maintenance and repair efforts as directed by management
• Replace lighting, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts to ensure optimal system performance

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 1-3 years of experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and electrical work
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft safely
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
