Pest Technician

Job Overview

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for delivering industry‑leading pest management services to residential customers. The role involves inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, applying appropriate treatments, educating clients, and maintaining equipment while complying with safety regulations.

• Conduct thorough inspections to detect pest activity, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products—including chemicals, baits, and traps—while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and advise on reducing future infestations.
• Build and maintain customer relationships; schedule, confirm appointments, and support sales opportunities.
• Ensure all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations concerning pest control products and safety protocols.
• Operate a company‑provided service vehicle safely, with routine maintenance performed by the company.
• Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, and narrow aisles.
• Handle mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals, training provided.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather, wearing appropriate PPE including an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Licenses and certificates required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by the company).
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday and weekends as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for following product label instructions.
• Customer‑facing experience preferred.
• Clean shaven face for safe rebreather use.
