Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the loading of haul trucks in a safe, efficient, and acceptable manner while following all company quality guidelines and work procedures. The position is also responsible for the safety, upkeep, and cleanliness of the load out areas.
Responsibilities & Expectations Reporting- Report pre-shift equipment inspections to Mine Foreman
- Report any unsafe conditions to a supervisor immediately
- Lubricate loader as required
- Maintain fluid level in loader
- Assist maintenance team members as directed
- Attend safety meetings
- Enforce all company, local, state and federal safety policies and procedures
- Maintain Company and Federal House Keeping Standards
- Implement all elements of the quality manual
- Maintain validity of documentation affecting the positions listed above
- Maintain the validity of all procedures affecting the positions listed above
- Be capable of performing back‑up duties for other Loader Operators and other qualified personnel
- Ensure a SQF workplace and follow regulatory compliance with Federal FDA – Food Modernization Safety Act (CFR Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Part 507)
- Support Environmental Health and Safety, as well as SQF initiatives and awareness programs
- Be a leader and promoter of employee safety and SQF culture
- Following completion of SQF training, demonstrate understanding of expected safety, SQF performance and Food Safety Culture
- Complete periodic SQF training(s)
- Each site location will ensure training is conducted for new employees and continued for existing employees
- Employees will actively participate in audits for regulatory, safety, SQF and environmental compliance at the site

- Must be capable of performing the essential job duties required of this job.
- Must have industrial background with good troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledgeable of current environmental regulations and practices as they relate to the industry.
- Must be able to work shift work, seven days a week including holidays and be flexible to schedule changes, including overtime.
- Effectively communicate and interact with supervisors, managers, and peers.
- Must be physically able to perform work assigned.
- Must be physically capable of accessing all plant locations.
- Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.
- Will be working at times in covered environment but mainly in a mining environment.
- The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions:
Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Mineral Particles. - The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time):
