Maintenance Tech III

PODS is hiring a Maintenance Tech III to keep our moving and storage operations running safely and reliably. In this hands-on role, you'll perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on PODS containers, material-handling equipment, vehicles, and facility systems in a fast-paced transportation and warehousing environment. You'll handle preventive and corrective work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, respond to urgent service needs, and keep accurate maintenance records.

You'll partner closely with operations and drivers to minimize downtime while upholding PODS' strong safety and customer-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair PODS containers, loading equipment, and facility systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using manuals and schematics
• Complete work orders, logs, and maintenance records accurately and on time
• Collaborate with operations and drivers to minimize equipment downtime
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and OSHA standards
• Assist with parts inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination
• Support installation, upgrades, and modifications to equipment and systems
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and structural repairs as needed
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation
