Part Time Technician

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is hiring a Part Time Technician to support our busy transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you'll perform basic vehicle and equipment maintenance, assist with inspections and minor repairs, and keep shop tools, parts, and work areas organized. You'll follow safety and company standards while documenting services and supporting inventory. Working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, you'll assist professional drivers and travelers while gaining hands-on experience, training, and opportunities to grow your career within a nationwide, family-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment at the travel stop shop
• Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and basic mechanical services under guidance of senior technicians
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely while following all safety and compliance procedures
• Document work performed, complete basic service records, and communicate issues to supervisors
• Support inventory control by organizing tools, parts, and supplies in the service area
• Provide friendly, professional service to drivers and travelers, answering basic questions about repairs and services
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, including shop bays and shared equipment
• Follow company policies, quality standards, and environmental guidelines in all shop activities
