• Job Title:
  Social Worker (Public health worker)
• Location:
  Selmer, TN
• Shift: Days 8a to 4:30p M to F (Onsite)

• Assess clients’ needs through interviews, observations, and review of case histories
• Develop personalized care plans to address individual circumstances and goals
• Provide counselling and emotional support to clients facing various challenges
• Advocate on behalf of clients to access appropriate services and resources
• Maintain accurate case records in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare professionals, educators, and social services agencies
• Supervise junior staff members, offering guidance, support, and mentoring to foster professional growth
• Organize community outreach programmed to raise awareness of available services
• Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development activities

• recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent (e.g., Degree or Diploma)
• Supervising experience or demonstrated ability to oversee team members effectively
• Proven mentoring skills with a commitment to supporting colleagues’ development
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
• Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude towards clients from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards governing social work practice
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
