We are recruiting for our client, an Embedded Systems Architect (M/F) in Meylan, to work on innovative projects with high added value in a demanding industrial environment.

In this role, you will join an expert team and contribute to the design and evolution of complex embedded architectures, in close collaboration with R&D, software, and hardware teams.

Your main duties will be:

• Define the global architecture of embedded systems in line with technical and functional requirements
• Participate in the design and modeling of embedded solutions (software/hardware)
• Analyze customer needs and write associated technical specifications
• Ensure the consistency of architectural choices (performance, security, robustness, maintainability)
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the proper implementation of solutions
• Lead architecture reviews and monitor technical developments
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards and best practices
• Participate in technology scouting for embedded systems

With an engineering or equivalent degree in embedded systems, electronics, or industrial computing, you have significant experience in a similar role.

You have strong skills in:

• Embedded systems architecture (real-time, hardware/software constraints)
• Low-level development (C/C++, possibly Linux embedded)
• Communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet…)
• Real-time environments (RTOS)
• Design methodologies (V-model, Agile)
• Modeling tools and architecture documentation

Experience in an industrial environment (ideally energy or automation) is a plus.

Independent, rigorous, and with good interpersonal skills, you are able to interact with various stakeholders and handle key technical topics.

A good level of technical English is expected.
