Senior M&S Software Developer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior M&S Software Developer to join our team! In this role you will be a key part of a development team comprised of engineers and software developers working together to assess systems and develop medium‑to‑high fidelity software models of real‑world threat weapon systems that capture the capabilities and limitations of emerging and fielded systems.

• Developing and enhancing software digital twins using C++ and Python on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Defining requirements and designing solutions for modeling and simulation (M&S) software.
• Automated unit, system, and system‑of‑systems test planning, development, and execution.
• Participating in technical discussions to assist in near‑term and long‑term planning.
• Collaborating within a team and mentoring junior/mid‑level software developers.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience.
• Very strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience developing products with regular release cycles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams and classified customers.
• Experience in Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops  environments.

• Software development in a Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops  environment.
• Experience working in an AGILE software development team.
• Mentoring experience.
• Experience designing, developing, or operating code for a distributed processing environment.
• Experience working with environmental datasets, Command‑and‑Control and RF propagation.

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
