The Athletic Department at Milligan University invites applications for the part-time position of Assistant Flag Football Coach - Women's Student-Athlete Care with an anticipated start date of January 5, 2026. Reporting to the Head Women's Flag Football Coach this position is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic individual who is self-motivated and can effectively teach the fundamentals of the game while developing student-athletes to be the best version of themselves on and off the field.
Applicants should be student-athlete focused, work well with others, and understand the values of intercollegiate athletics, NAIA guidelines, and NAIA Champions of Character Program. Primary duties and responsibilities would include assisting with day-to-day recruiting and retention of student-athletes, assisting with scheduling, itineraries, practice scripts, and game plans, monitoring discipline procedures within the University and sport guidelines, and assisting with annual inventory.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should have (1) a bachelor's degree, with experience playing and/or coaching in the sport of tackle or flag football at the collegiate level; (2) the ability to cooperate and communicate with the Milligan University athletic training staff; (3) the ability to fulfill all travel obligations; (4) conducting themselves in a professional manner, always displaying good sportsmanship; and (5) the ability to perform job-related duties that require presence in women's locker rooms, changing areas, and other private spaces used by women student-athletes, in order to provide appropriate supervision, instruction, and care.

Successful candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan's mission as a Christian liberal arts university.
