Cherokee Country Club is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic Assistant Swim Coaches to support our Swim Team program. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about swimming, enjoy working with youth athletes, and want to be part of a positive, team-focused environment.

Assistant Swim Coaches will work alongside the Head Coach to provide instruction, encouragement, and supervision for swimmers of various ages and skill levels. Coaches will help create a fun, safe, and competitive atmosphere that promotes skill development, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

• Assist in planning and conducting swim practices.
• Provide stroke instruction and technique correction.
• Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Help supervise swimmers during practices and meets.
• Assist with swim meets, including timing, organizing heats, and athlete support.
• Ensure safety standards are always followed.
• Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff.

• Competitive swim experience preferred.
• Previous coaching or teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
