This position provides overall coordination to ensure all company goals are met for a particular operation(s) and client(s). This role participates in contracting activities associated with Independent Contractors (ICs) that provide delivery equipment and transport products from our clients’ locations to designated locations as requested by the customer. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities- Monitor to ensure all routes are covered, IC check-ins are complete and communicated to the customer, and routes run on time.
- Create routes per customer requirements. Ensure ICs providing dispatch services are aligned and communicate changes to dispatch and ICs as needed.
- Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are met.
- Communicate delays and issues to the customer and dispatch department.
- Ensure ICs use the vehicle type requested by the customer.
- Ensure compliance with IC login process and EC-mobile.
- Work directly with ICs to assist with issues during dispatch.
- Assist in arranging STAT coverage for customers, as needed.
- Restructure routes as requested by the customer to ensure on-time execution.
- Ensure ICs provide contracted delivery services in compliance with customer regulations.
- Assist with contracting of ICs as needed.
- Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
- Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.
- Follow up with ICs to ensure paperwork is up to date, as needed.
- Ensure ICs wear a uniform shirt with a visible as required by customers for identification and security purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) experience required.
- Proactive and resourceful; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks that may be deadline-driven.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean, functional vehicle.
- Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
- College Degree or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.

Monday through Friday
Shift Hours
: 10am - 7pm
(Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred)
Pay Rate
: from $21 - $23 per hour (Dependent upon experience level)
