- Shuttle/Yard Driver:
Maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing customer needs. - Shuttle/Yard Driver:
Account for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles. - Interact with warehouse supervisors and comply with warehouse safety requirements daily.
- Communicate with operations and warehouse personnel in a courteous and professional manner using cellular telephone or 2-way radio.
- Operate and position trucks in loading/unloading areas; place safety wheel chocks as needed and notify the customer if a jack stand is not installed.
- Proper use of airline/electrical hookup and backing procedures.
- Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
- Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse and yard.
- Quality:
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are delivered promptly and without damage. - Delivery:
Efficiently deliver equipment and product in a timely manner without damage; proper documentation must accompany freight. - Inventory:
Keep proper documentation of each load to provide to each site.
- Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area (truck) and assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, drum attachment, or other power equipment.
- Maintain the facility s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Inspect and report any defect for repair on a daily basis.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
- Maintain an active Class A CDL certification.
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Fuel trucks as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Education and/or
Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment. - Licenses:
Class A CDL and Health Card – valid and up to date.

Skills:
Basic computer skills. - Language

Basic to intermediate level for handling, storing, and distributing client products. - Other:
Basic reading and writing skills; ability to read and follow manufacturer s instruction manuals; ability to work independently or in a team; adaptability to change and fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail; clean driving record;
Class A CDL required.
- 1-2 years experience in warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- 1-2 years driving experience.
