Distribute boats/products promptly to our dealers, located in any of the 48 US continental states. The driver will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Complete logs, reports, and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Physical - or willing to obtain one.
- Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Clean driving record.
- Experience with E-Logs.
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws in any given state in the US.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Attention to detail.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel during unloading/loading of boats.
This is a safety sensitive position.
