Local Courier Driver

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and punctual Local Courier Driver to join their team serving the East London area. You will be responsible for the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of packages and documents to a diverse range of clients. This role requires excellent knowledge of local roads, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

As a key member of the East London operations, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and the efficient flow of goods within the Eastern Cape . This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver to join a reputable logistics company.

• Pick up and deliver packages and documents to designated locations within the specified East London area.
• Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time frames for all assigned deliveries .
• Operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly, performing routine checks as required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery signatures and any required documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous service to all customers encountered during courier duties.
• Report any vehicle issues, delivery exceptions, or customer concerns promptly to the supervisor.

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 08 or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver, with good knowledge of East London and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and navigation skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying sizes and weights.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
