About the Role:

The Warehouse Operator II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory within a durable goods manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished products, maintaining optimal warehouse organization and cleanliness. The role requires close collaboration with production, quality control, and logistics teams to support seamless manufacturing operations and timely order fulfillment.

The Warehouse Operator II will utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and movements, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall operational excellence by minimizing errors, reducing downtime, and supporting a safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated safe operation of material handling equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems or similar software.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in durable goods manufacturing or a related industrial sector.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including overtime and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions using warehouse management software.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to coordinate material flow and resolve discrepancies.
