Job Summary

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation / Warehouse Worker to support cleanliness and sanitation operations within a warehouse facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, while ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation duties throughout the warehouse facility
• Clean and maintain dry storage, cooler, and freezer areas
• Complete general cleaning tasks including:
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Dusting
  • Trash collection and disposal
• Operate a pallet jack (manual or electric) to transport trash and refuse to designated disposal areas
• Utilize and operate a trash compactor as needed
• Maintain cleanliness in office areas as assigned
• Follow proper procedures when working with cleaning chemicals and sanitation products
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Support additional duties as assigned based on business needs

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, sanitation, or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cooler and freezer environments
• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
• Ability to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting including dry, refrigerated, and freezer conditions
• Exposure to cleaning agents and industrial sanitation equipment
