Reporting to the 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor, the Technician will prepare, and scan rented equipment. They will assist in the prep and de-prep of touring equipment. They will also prepare transport cases and assist with loading and offloading trucks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- QC and maintain equipment
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean; report any damage or hazards to the supervisor
- Pull orders for upcoming events
- Perform periodic inventory counts
- Familiar with computer networking, applicable hardware, and software (Preferred)
- Examine lists of equipment to be prepared for tours and assist in pulling tour orders
- Prepare, scan, and receive orders in R2 inventory system
- Ensure that all equipment sent to the planned locations is in excellent condition
- Report any breaks and/or missing items to the supervisor
- Keep track of equipment inventories
- Respond to any questions or issues technicians may have, as well as those from coordinators and technicians on the road
- Clean and visually inspect returned equipment
- Follow quality standards as well as the company's and/or industry's standards of preparation
- All other duties related to the position.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to solve complicated problems
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Adapt to change easily
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Less than 1 year of experience in a live event production or event rental equipment
- Less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of inventory software (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate information in a logical and clear way.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Good ability to self-start and prioritize within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
- Strong customer service skills
- Forklift certification (Preferred)
- TN health card and ability to operate commercial vehicles up to 26' (Preferred)
