Forklift Operator

NCW is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations for clients in the professional, scientific, and technical services sectors. In this role, you will safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials, following all OSHA and site safety standards. You'll complete basic shipping/receiving tasks, scan and track inventory, and support order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with productivity and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
• Follow OSHA, site, and company safety procedures at all times
• Stage, organize, and transfer materials to designated locations
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading trucks and checking pallets
• Use scanners or basic warehouse systems to track inventory and orders
• Inspect forklifts and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Work with warehouse and logistics teams to meet productivity goals
