Working Farm Foreman Specialist Crop Production This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship the successful applicant must have existing Right to Work in the UK. Job Role Details:
This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with senior management to coordinate daily farming activities, supervise staff, maintain machinery and ensure the efficient operation of the business throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily crop production activities Oversee spraying operations and crop husbandry programmes Manage trellis systems, crop support structures and general farm infrastructure Supervise harvest operations and seasonal labour teams Lead, motivate and support a small team of permanent employees Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained Diagnose faults, service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery and farm equipment Coordinate cultivation, irrigation and general farm operations Support environmental and estate management projects Report operational progress to senior management Essential Candidate

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience within commercial fruit production, orchards, vineyards, hops, soft fruit or other perennial cropping systems Proven ability to diagnose faults, maintain and repair agricultural machinery and farm equipment PA1, PA2 and PA3 qualifications Forklift and/or telehandler certification Experience supervising staff and coordinating workloads Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and make sound operational decisions Full UK driving licence Flexible approach to working hours during peak seasonal periods Desirable:
Previous Foreman, Farm Supervisor or Assistant Farm Manager experience Experience managing seasonal labour Welding and fabrication experience Knowledge of trellis systems and crop support infrastructure Environmental stewardship experience

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday with flexibility required during harvest and peak seasonal periods.
