Underground Electrician at Barminco Mining

Collaborate with the Electrical Superintendent to apply your technical expertise in line with BC electrical code and safety standards. The position demands knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high voltage systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to mine safety rules and regulations

• Read and interpret drawings and electrical specifications

• Install and repair wiring and electrical components

• Conduct tests on electrical equipment for functionality

• Maintain and document work performed accurately

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in underground mining operations

• Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification preferred

• Knowledge of PLC control systems is an asset

• Strong communication skills and team collaboration

• Ability to work shift rotations under varying conditions
