Materials Testing Technician

We are hiring Field Materials Testing Technicians for our office in Terrace, BC. It is a full-time permanent position and eligible for benefits after 3 months.
What you will be doing:- Travelling to job sites to sample and test concrete and aggregate
- recording and reporting results
- liaising with clients and site personnel
- troubleshooting real time compliance issues in the field and monitoring non-compliance protocols
- $25
-30/hr for experienced testing technician - PPE with an allowance for safety boots
- Car allowance for work related travel

- 8 years of experience in working as a Materials Testing Technician
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Ability to lift and control weights up to 23 kilos / 50 lbs.
- Experience in Concrete Testing and Soil testing is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn customized computer programs
- Strong ethics
