Terrace RCMP Detachment Support

Position: Terrace RCMP Detachment Support Role
Enhance public safety while supporting the Terrace RCMP detachment. This role involves managing inquiries and clerical tasks to ensure excellent service delivery to the community.

Under the direction of the Executive Assistant/Office Manager, this position requires you to assess and respond to a variety of inquiries from the public and external partners. Essential skills include strong communication, organization, and clerical abilities to maintain information integrity. You will work closely with RCMP members while performing duties that necessitate accuracy and a team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to non-emergency public inquiries via multi-line phone

• Process civil fingerprints and disclosure requests

• Maintain radio contact with police units for public safety

• Perform front counter reception duties under supervision

• Conduct quality reviews for compliance in PRIME RMS

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduate with 2 years office experience

• RCMP Enhanced Reliability Clearance required

• Typing speed of 60 words per minute

• Good knowledge of computer systems and software

• Valid Class 5 BC Drivers Licence mandatory
