As an administrative support member, you will work under the guidance of the Executive Assistant/Office Manager, directly aiding RCMP operations. The role involves handling public inquiries, processing requests, and managing information accuracy in the PRIME system. Strong interpersonal skills are vital as you interact with diverse community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle non-emergency inquiries and complaints over the phone
• Process public complaints at the front counter
• Generate dispatch files for RCMP operations
• Maintain compliance in processing records for the detachment
• Transcribe sensitive audio statements as required
Requirements:
• Minimum secondary school graduation required
• Two years of related experience, preferably in law enforcement
• Accurate typing ability of 60 w.p.m.
• Familiar with transcription and word processing software
• Class 5 BC Drivers Licence must be valid
