This position starts in August 2026, requiring shift work of two weeks on, two weeks off, with 10-12 hour working days. The technician will work in rugged conditions while using specialized skills such as BC-CESCL certification and data collection. Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with field teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor environmental impacts during construction phases
• Conduct water quality and fish habitat assessments
• Collaborate with field teams and contractors daily
• Collect and report high-quality field data
• Perform wildlife and bird surveys accurately
Requirements:
• BC-CESCL and First Aid Level 1 certified
• Experience with water quality sampling methods
• Proven track record in remote field roles
• Strong interpersonal and observational skills
• Physically fit for 12-hour workdays in rugged terrains
