Senior Team Lead Environmental Projects

Join McTavish Resource Management as a Senior Team Lead driving environmental projects in Northwest British Columbia. Lead diverse projects while closely collaborating with Kitselas First Nation and Wai Wah Environmental.

This key role supports both the field and office components of environmental projects across forestry, oil and gas, and government sectors. The Senior Team Lead will leverage expertise in natural resource management, focusing on fish habitats and wildlife, while managing projects related to environmental monitoring and compliance. Leadership includes daily management of interns and project leads, applying your comprehensive knowledge to ensure project deliverables align with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as key resource and client contact for projects

• Prepare technical reports and permit applications

• Manage and track project budgets for efficiency

• Lead ecological studies on fisheries and water quality

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for project efficiency

Requirements:

• Science degree or diploma required

• Minimum 10 years in environmental consulting

• At least 5 years in a leadership role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License required
