Heavy Duty Mechanic

Position: Heavy Duty Mechanic at MGM Power Systems
Elevate your mechanical skills with MGM Power Systems Inc. as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Terrace, BC. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing generators across various industries.

We seek a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic or Power Generation Technician ready to join our expanding team. Ideal candidates possess experience with diesel engines and generators, supporting our mission to maintain reliable power solutions. You will ensure compliance with CSA 282 standards while working on units from small to large industrial sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair generators from 10kW to 2MW+

• Service remote generators at mine sites and beyond

• Perform annual services, maintenance, and load testing

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical issues on systems

• Maintain service records and adhere to CSA 282 compliance

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of diesel engines and fuel systems

• Experience in troubleshooting generators and components

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record

• Ability to work independently in remote locations
