Project Details:Based at our project in Northern , this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.
Responsibilities:We have an immediate need for highly motivated, safety conscious Underground Miners to join our Construction and Services crews for a 10-month duration with possible extension.
The Underground Miner – Construciton and Services is responsible and accountable for the following:
- Strictly adhere to all legislated regulations, including the BC Mines Act, as well as company Health & Safety policies to ensure safe work practices and uphold Health & Safety as the top priority.
- Comply with all site-specific and underground policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and safety standards.
- Installation or repair of mine services in an underground mining environment
- Mine services, fan installations, cable bolt installation and grouting, pipe installation and paste hookups and lockouts
- Operating various pieces of underground mining equipment which could include scissor decks, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, boom trucks, trans-mixers, shotcrete sprayers and other light vehicles.
- Other mining and construction related tasks as required.
- Minimum two (2) years working full-time in an underground mining environment.
- Work includes one or more of the following skills: installation of compressed air lines, process and dewater lines, ventilation fans and duct, pumps, miscellaneous small construction work with steel or concrete.
- Comprehension reading work instructions with good literacy and numeracy skills. This includes the ability to fill shift reports, documenting work completed.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and “welcome back” sessions upon returning to site to ensure alignment with safety protocols and operational updates.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, punctuality, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Must be willing to work a 3-weeks-on / 3-weeks-off rotational schedule.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repetitively and consistently throughout the workday.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse crews and adapt seamlessly to different team dynamics.
- Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative as a proactive contributor to high-performing teams.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus, efficiency, and safety standards.

This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp.
