Millwright

Position: Millwright at Skeena Gold + Silver
Drive innovation as a Millwright with Skeena Gold + Silver at the Eskay Creek Mine. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy machinery in a dynamic mining environment.

As a Millwright reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will leverage your mechanical skills and Red Seal certification to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment.

Your role will involve preventive maintenance, machine repairs, and effective collaboration with both operations and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain industrial machinery and equipment

• Troubleshoot pumps, conveyors, and crushers effectively

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance for reliability

• Read technical blueprints and manuals for diagnostics

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Red Seal Journeyperson certification required

• 5 years’ experience with mining or aggregate equipment

• Proficiency in hydraulics and mechanical systems

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Comfortable in high-noise, industrial environments
