Velocity Truck Centres Canada is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic / Truck & Trailer Technician to join our service team in Terrace, BC.

- Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and transportation equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service work
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems
- Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to identify and resolve technical issues
- Ensure repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Conduct quality inspections and functional testing following repairs
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Support inventory and parts management activities as required
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Truck & Transport Technician certification, or equivalent qualification
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and repair tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
- Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Licence
