Lead Maintenance Foreperson Position

Location: Area D (Iskut/Big Raven)

Become a Lead Maintenance Foreperson at Barminco's Red Chris Mine. Focus on safety and maintenance oversight in an underground mining setting.

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Foreperson to join their team on a FIFO schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off. In this role, you will supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and high-quality standards. Your expertise in underground mechanics and leadership will guide the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational regulations

• Supervise maintenance activities and personnel performance

• Administer training programs for staff proficiency

• Analyze maintenance performance metrics and implement improvements

• Maintain thorough documentation of services and inspections

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanics

• 10 years’ experience as an underground mechanic

• At least 5 years’ supervisory experience required

• Demonstrated cross-cultural communication abilities

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
