Financial Accounting Supervisor

Are you an existing/prior Supervisor or Senior Accountant with formal or informal supervisory experience? Join a manufacturing company that recently completed a $250 million expansion and is looking for a long-term fit to excel in a position of leadership.

The Financial Accounting Supervisor will oversee the accurate production of financial statements and will supervise the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting at the Terre Haute division. Reporting to a Division Controller, the role will manage a team of 2 accountants.

• Coordinating month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures
• Preparation of financial statements
• Financial analysis
• Account reconciliations
• Assisting in tax-related activities
• Participating in inventory counts
• Capital project accounting
• Assisting in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditors
• Prioritizing responsibilities
• Budgeting

• Bachelor's Degree (Accounting is preferred)
• General knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Five (5) or more years of accounting experience
• CMA or CPA is preferred
• Supervisory experience

$130,000-$140,000 per year
