Job Summary /Basic Function

GA who will work to support one or more faculty in the Management, Information Systems, and Business Education (MISBE) Department by performing duties primarily associated with the teaching mission of the University.

Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule

This position provides up to 20 hours of support per week during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.

-4:30 p.m.). Any anticipated need outside of these hours requires at least two weeks' prior coordination.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Specific duties will include course preparation, grading, assessment, in-class support (taking notes, attendance, proctoring quizzes and/or exams), tutoring, holding office hours, and assisting with program development. The GA may also provide research support to the faculty by locating and summarizing research articles, performing a literature review, and proofreading and formatting papers. While the primary scope of work aligns to teaching assistant duties, some research assistant responsibilities will be included.
