As an Admissions Associate Director, you will serve as a regional representative and perform outreach and engagement with a designated geographic area (including Chicago, Illinois and surrounding vicinity, Milwaukee, WI and surrounding vicinity; and Gary, IN and surrounding vicinity). You will work with and build strong relationships with prospective students, families, schools, school counselors, alumni, and community-based organizations by planning recruitment activities.
You will represent the institution to external markets and ensure representation of institutional strengths is included in presentations and other communications. Additionally, you will join Chicago Area Regional Representative (CARR) and be an active member.
Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree and four to five years of experience in a private institution with college admissions. Strong analytical and project/process management skills are necessary. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Must be able to speak and interact effectively with alumni, students, faculty, staff, and prospective students and their families from many cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

In addition to the above qualifications, preferred candidates will have a master's degree and five years of experience in a private institution with diversity/multicultural affairs or college admissions. Preferred candidates will also have knowledge of engineering.
Experience with various types of social media is preferred.
At Rose-Hulman, your successes are celebrated in a welcoming, supportive, and flexible environment with a number of benefits and resources including a variety of health benefit options; voluntary benefits such as Group Accident and/or Group Critical Illness Insurance, Pet Insurance, and Caregiver Resources; participation in Tuition Exchange; a generous and flexible paid leave program and dedicated time for professional development. As a Rose-Hulman employee, you will also enjoy access to full-service fitness facilities and programming;
a performing arts center featuring national touring acts and campus productions; and access to state-of-the-art labs, facilities, and equipment. All employees experience opportunities to have an impact on student lives and be part of a greater purpose through multidisciplinary project collaboration that can have a global impact, as well as receive continual encouragement and support for philanthropic and volunteer opportunities.
