North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Process Engineer Sr (Automation) to join our Manufacturing Facility based in Paris, IL. This candidate will provide engineering support to the plastic injection molding and coatings process to include: the analysis, development, planning, and execution of improvements through process system design, equipment design, and automation. Specifically focused on new technologies, existing process integration, and strategic development of new methods and concepts.

Your Priorities

While working within the fast paced, automotive environment, you will provide leadership, technical guidance, and training to other team members.

Manage, coordinate, and implement automation projects to improve effectiveness, quality, and cost.

Communicate with management, engineering, and other colleagues to ensure that best practices are shared across the organization.

Develop and implement automation processes, procedures, and standards.

Research and implement new technology and equipment for processing automation.

Participate in strategic capital equipment and budget planning and forecasting.

Identify Value Engineering/Value Analysis ideas to be implemented into new product processes.

Provide technical assistance to production engineering and manufacturing to help resolve quality concerns, increase productivity, and improve safety.

Your Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline plus 6 to 8 years of experience in a process related position, to include 2 to 4 years of experience with automation.

Engineering experience in automotive parts manufacturing, industrial controls and programming, and industrial robots is preferred.

Salary Range: $98,000- $108,000
