Duties of the Process Engineer include:
Monitor processes, determine bottlenecks and deficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce material waste in processes
Help lead capital equipment upgrades to processes
Ensure compliance with OSHA and process safety standards
Manage new batch projects
Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, etc)
Work with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues
Assist with management of production floor when needed
Requirements for the Process Engineer include:
A BS in Engineering
Proven experience as a Process Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer
Knowledge of continuous improvement or Lean methodologies
