As a Wire Transfer Clerk, you play an important role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of funds for our customers and internal teams. - Process Wire Transfers:
Execute incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers accurately and within established deadlines. - Handle Foreign Collections:
Process foreign collection items in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. - Reconcile Daily Activity:
Assist with daily reconciliation of wire activity to ensure balancing accuracy and proper reporting. - Resolve Inquiries:
Respond to customer and internal requests, questions, and concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating when appropriate. - Maintain Controls:
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support internal controls and audit requirements. - Ensure Compliance:
Perform all duties in alignment with established Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three to five years of clerical or banking‑related experience preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Working knowledge of bank operational functions preferred.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight‑hour workday.
- Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
