Job Description

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Terre Haute, Indiana.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Terre Haute, IN. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.

As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the setting, following guidelines.
• Understand the PT board’s rules and regulations, complying within the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); 1 year preferred.
• BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods and bend/lean/stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
