Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in an acute care setting with remote telemetry, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a night shift schedule.

Job Details

• Acute care Med/Surg unit with 32 beds and remote telemetry monitoring,

• Telemetry is ordered per patient and monitored 24/7,

• Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical patients under internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist overflow physicians,

• IV drips administered include Dopamine (5mcg constant rate for renal perfusion only, no titration) and Heparin,

• Charting system:
Cerner,

Schedule:

3x12-hour night shifts per week,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,

• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred,

• BSN not required,

• Med/Surg acute care experience required,

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered,

• Candidates residing between 50 and 100 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate,

• No orientation hours included with this assignment
