Position Summary

The Marketing / Culture Specialist works to establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders and target populations to increase awareness of programs, services and resources offered by Hamilton Center, Inc. The position serves as a liaison between the organization and the community, conducting outreach activities, presentations and educational events to promote engagement, participation, and access to services. The position helps support the philosophy, policies, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the leadership team.

This position also helps with promoting, strengthening, and sustaining a positive organizational culture that aligns with mission, vision, and values. This position works collaboratively with leadership, Human Resources, and staff to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, communication, recognition, and overall workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness of organizational programs, services, and resources.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community organizations and referral sources.
  • Stay updated on Hamilton Center’s programs and services by geographic location and division.
  • Understand Hamilton Center’s target market(s) in each area served.
  • Participate in relevant team/clinical meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and outcomes.
  • Collect community feedback and identify trends, barriers, and service gaps.
  • Enter and maintain data in organizational databases and reporting systems.
  • Adhere to facility and department standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Initiate events designed to attract and educate referral sources and consumers, such as community events, health fairs, breakfasts, etc.
  • Initiate tours, public speaking events and other outreach opportunities to promote services and programs.
  • Conduct community outreach and education to raise awareness about the health insurance coverage exchange to assist consumers in enrollment options.
  • Work with the Navigation Department as it relates to healthcare consumer needs.
  • Work within a specified budget.
  • Facilitate or coordinate training programs related to organizational culture, communication, teamwork, customer service, and inclusion.
  • Assist in developing educational materials and resources related to workplace culture.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern impacting organizational culture.
  • Provide guidance and support for culture‑related projects and organizational changes.
  • Prepare outreach materials, presentations, displays, and promotional resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in health care business development, marketing, or relevant field. Knowledge of behavioral health is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional rapport with all stakeholders.
  • Willingness to use personal transportation in work capacity.
  • Skills in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.
  • Customer focused philosophy of doing business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload and coordinate own activities with others.
  • Knowledge of computer software and use of the Internet – Microsoft Word products; preferred Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Knowledge of internal/external healthcare environments.
  • Ability to use solid judgment and adhere to confidentiality requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment using tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication.
